LeBron James and Lil Wayne Introduce the New Beats Pill Speaker

By DaMarko Webster

Beats has just unveiled the revamped Pill portable speaker, boasting a complete redesign and reengineering for superior sound quality.

The new Beats Pill is lighter and more portable than ever, offering up to 24 hours of all-day battery life. Equipped with USB-C for both audio and charging, the speaker is now dust and water-resistant. Its compatibility with both iOS and Android devices enhances its portability and versatility.

The Pill’s overhaul includes a new racetrack woofer and stronger neodymium magnets, delivering 28% more motor force and 90% more air volume. Its innovative radial ribbing structure helps minimize low-end distortion, even at high volumes. The tweeter, now housed separately for added stability, ensures crisp highs and rich mid-range tones.

Featuring a 20-degree upward tilt, the streamlined Beats Pill improves on-axis sound projection and reduces reflected sound. It comes with a removable carry lanyard and a soft-grip silicone backing. Additionally, the Pill doubles as a speakerphone, providing clear speech for phone calls.
