Global brand management firm WHP Global announced a new long-term license agreement with Fashioncenter GmbH, a subsidiary of the Schmidt Group based in Norderstedt. This collaboration aims to extend the presence of the Lotto brand in Central Europe.

As part of this strategic partnership, Fashioncenter GmbH will assume responsibility for product development and distribution of Lotto’s lifestyle footwear and sports fashion apparel in Germany and Poland. Operating under the “Lotto Life” banner, Fashioncenter GmbH plans to introduce a diverse range of apparel and footwear collections that seamlessly fuse sporty elements with everyday fashion. The anticipated launch of these new Lotto lifestyle collections is scheduled for the upcoming summer, with availability in stores expected at the commencement of Fall/Winter 2024.

Stanley Silverstein, Chief Commercial Officer at WHP Global, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the Schmidt Group’s expertise in distributing lifestyle brands and their extensive network in two key European markets. He anticipates that this collaboration will significantly enhance the brand’s presence in the region.

Andrea Tomat, President & CEO of LSI, and Cornelia Schmidt, CEO of Fashioncenter, both emphasized a shared vision for the future growth of the Lotto brand in Germany and Poland. They anticipate a prosperous and enduring partnership as they introduce new products inspired by Italian style and a passion for sports to the region, expanding beyond performance apparel and footwear into the broader lifestyle space.

Fashioncenter, having recently secured the license for the Kappa brand for the next 25 years, further solidifies its position in brand management.

WHP Global’s diverse portfolio includes renowned brands such as Anne Klein, Joseph Abboud, Joe Jeans, among others.
