Universal has officially announced that Epic Universe, its highly anticipated fourth theme park in Orlando, Florida, will open on May 22, 2025. Touted as the company’s most ambitious project to date, the park spans a massive 750-acre lot and promises to deliver an immersive, multi-world experience.

Epic Universe will feature five unique themed lands, each dedicated to beloved Universal movie franchises. Fans can expect to explore worlds based on Nintendo, Harry Potter, and How to Train Your Dragon. The park will also introduce Dark Universe, a realm inspired by Universal’s iconic classic monster films, including Frankenstein, Dracula, and Wolf Man.

Adding to the excitement is the unveiling of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel. This luxurious hotel will provide guests with exclusive access to Epic Universe, offering a private entrance for a seamless, VIP-like experience.

Although the opening is still months away, Universal is giving fans a head start by offering special ticket packages for Epic Universe. These packages will range from three to five-day visits, with one day dedicated to exploring the new park, while the remaining days allow access to Universal’s existing parks. A limited number of these packages will be available to the public starting Tuesday, October 22. Additionally, Universal Annual Passholders will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Epic Universe beginning Thursday, October 24.

With its grand scale, cutting-edge attractions, and fan-favorite franchises, Epic Universe is set to redefine the theme park experience when it opens its gates in 2025.
