TriNet Announces Donation to NAACP Supporting Black Business Owners and Entrepreneurs

TriNet, a leading provider of comprehensive human resources solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has announced the NAACP Empowerment Programs as the latest recipient of a donation from the TriNet Foundation. This contribution is made through the NAACP Powershift Grants, part of Daymond John’s Black Entrepreneurs Day event.
The TriNet Foundation, launched in 2021, is a donor-advised fund of TriNet and a vital component of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. NAACP Empowerment Programs focus on empowering communities of color, with a particular emphasis on supporting Black entrepreneurs and advocating for economic policies that benefit Black entrepreneurs and workers.
Samantha Wellington, TriNet’s Executive Vice President of Business Affairs, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary, expressed their pride in supporting the NAACP’s work in empowering Black entrepreneurs and communities of color. This partnership aligns with the TriNet Foundation’s philanthropic vision of fostering positive change, economic development, and entrepreneurial growth.
The NAACP, through its partnership with TriNet for Black Entrepreneurs Day, is dedicated to expanding opportunities for Black entrepreneurs nationwide. Their grants provide essential support and resources to help Black enterprises thrive and drive positive change in their respective sectors.
TriNet is also participating in the upcoming Black Entrepreneurs Day, a celebrated event curated by Daymond John, aimed at inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. TriNet’s role in the event will include a discussion between Samantha Wellington and Daymond John at the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem. This conversation will explore TriNet’s commitment to SMBs, its programs supporting entrepreneurial experiences, and its efforts to spotlight diverse communities. Part of TriNet’s grant to the NAACP will fund multiple NAACP Powershift Grants, assisting Black entrepreneurs and small business owners in their business development efforts.
