LG Unveils 2024 QNED TVs Featuring Upgraded Picture Quality and a Wide Array of Screen Options

LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled its latest range of QNED and QNED Mini LED TVs for 2024, expanding the array of screen options to include an impressive 98-inch variant boasting vibrant picture quality, advanced AI-driven processing technologies, customizable features, and an elegant design.
Advancing its technological prowess, the 2024 LG QNED TVs showcase a significant leap in intelligence, courtesy of the α8 AI Processor. Notable improvements include a 1.3-fold increase in AI performance, a remarkable 2.3-fold enhancement in graphic performance, and a 1.6 times faster processing speed compared to its predecessor.
Integrating cutting-edge technology for a more refined visual experience, the AI Picture Pro feature utilizes deep learning to deliver optimal picture quality, expertly distinguishing faces, objects, and backgrounds within a scene. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, another innovative feature, real-time analyzes picture blocks to identify the darkest and brightest areas, ensuring precise HDR optimization and delivering three-dimensional image quality. The Personalized Picture Wizard empowers users to effortlessly customize image quality by selecting preferred images intelligently set up through deep learning.
Complementing the vibrant picture quality, the AI Sound Pro captivates viewers with virtual 9.1.2 surround sound emanating from the built-in speakers. The WOW Orchestra seamlessly integrates the LG Sound Bar and TV speakers for a mesmerizing 3D sound experience.
Highlighting LG’s Quantum Dot and NanoCell color technologies, the latest QNED TVs promise crisp and vivid picture quality, enhancing color reproduction for a more immersive home entertainment experience.
The QNED Mini LED TVs utilize Precision Dimming technology for improved gradations and precise backlight control, while the QNED TVs feature local dimming technology for vivid contrast and exceptional brightness. The QNED Mini LED TV QNED90 model, in particular, boasts the Million Grey Scale, offering vibrant contrast with a 20-bit accuracy.
With a slim profile of only 29mm, the 2024 LG QNED TVs, including the QNED85 and QNED80 models, blend seamlessly into any space, adding a premium touch to households. These TVs are wall-mountable, providing flexibility in furniture and appliance arrangement.
Furthermore, LG enhances the home entertainment experience with versatile personalization and convenience. The webOS Re:New program offers an upgrade to the latest webOS smart TV platform for the next five years, starting with the QNED Mini LED 8K models launched in 2022 and extending to additional models in the QNED TV lineup worldwide. Users can create individual profiles, receive personalized recommendations, and access services through the Dynamic Q Card on the updated webOS platform, which also supports Apple AirPlay and Chromecast for seamless connectivity with mobile devices.
To cater to diverse abilities, LG QNED TVs offer various accessibility features, including dedicated menu settings, sign language avatars, remote control tutorials, and quick problem resolution guides.
The 2024 LG QNED TV lineup addresses a variety of customer needs with screen sizes ranging from 43 to 98 inches. The introduction of the massive 98-inch model meets the growing demand for larger TVs in the premium LCD TV market, providing customers with a range of alternatives suitable for any space.
