Hollyland Unveils Pyro S: A Revolutionary Wireless 4K Video Transmission System for Filmmakers
By DaMarko Webster
Hollyland Technology is thrilled to introduce the Pyro series, a cutting-edge wireless video transmission system designed to enhance the capabilities of small to medium commercial and television production teams. The Pyro lineup includes the Pyro H, Pyro S, and Pyro 7, all offering innovative solutions for multi-person mobile wireless image transmission and monitoring.
The Pyro series stands out with its ability to support up to four receivers from a single transmitter, providing a flexible, stable, and professional transmission experience. Equipped with Hollyland’s proprietary 2.4GHz and 5GHz Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) wireless technology, the Pyro system boasts superior anti-interference capabilities, reduced lag, and improved range. This advanced technology allows the Pyro S to deliver exceptional wireless video quality to four independent monitors over the long distances required by professional filmmakers and video creators.
The Pyro H and Pyro S models ensure stable 4K/30fps wireless video transmission with a range of up to 400 meters when broadcast mode is off, offering unparalleled clarity, detail, and realism. Hollyland’s ADH technology guarantees real-time footage monitoring with minimal latency for all crew members, including directors, producers, lighting technicians, and audio engineers.
Users can tailor video monitoring performance to their specific needs through an easy mode selection interface, choosing between Smooth mode for low latency and enhanced frame rate, or HD mode for superior image quality. In Smooth mode, the system achieves a latency of just 50ms for ultra-long-distance transmission, while HD mode maintains a stable bitrate of 8-12 Mbps at distances up to 1,300 feet (400 meters).
The Pyro series is designed for professional and smaller commercial projects, featuring USB Video Class (UVC) and Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) for seamless device connectivity and streaming. The Pyro H model includes HDMI Input/Output and Loopout, allowing users to connect cameras and transmit signals while monitoring through the loopout port. The Pyro S expands on this with both HDMI and SDI Input/Output, catering to more advanced shooting needs. The Pyro 7, set for release in July, will offer HDMI and SDI Input/Output and Loopout, providing flexible connection options based on specific requirements.
Constructed from lightweight aerospace-grade magnesium-aluminum alloy, the Pyro series is both portable and durable, ideal for dynamic video production environments. The Pyro H and Pyro S models feature vibrant color LCD control displays on both transmitters and receivers, ensuring easy access to settings and an intuitive user interface. The Pyro 7 will further enhance usability with a 7-inch all-in-one transceiving wireless monitor.
With its advanced features and robust design, the Pyro series by Hollyland Technology is set to revolutionize wireless video transmission for professional and commercial applications.
