HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 Premieres This April

Exciting updates from the world of television—The Last of Us fans, mark your calendars! Season two of HBO’s acclaimed adaptation now has an official release window.
Co-creator, writer, and executive producer Neil Druckmann shared the news during Sony’s press conference at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The highly anticipated second season is set to debut this April, arriving just over two years after the groundbreaking first season captivated audiences worldwide.
HBO has revealed that the new seven-episode season will take place five years after the events of the first, promising intense drama as Joel and Ellie grapple with personal conflict in a world that has grown even more dangerous and unpredictable.
Returning to reprise their iconic roles are Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. Joining the cast this season are Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, and Catherine O’Hara in an exciting guest role.
