Epic Games Unveils Trailer for The Weeknd’s Fortnite Festival Concert

After early leaks, Epic Games has officially unveiled a trailer for its collaboration with The Weeknd in the upcoming Fortnite Festival event. The artist marks the initiation of a new musical experience within the game, with The Weeknd-themed elements seamlessly integrated into the array of new content, including items, weapons, vehicles, and more introduced in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

In a noteworthy collaboration with Harmonix, the studio behind Rock Band, Fortnite will introduce a captivating game mode. This mode will allow players to synchronize hitting notes in rhythm to a song while enjoying a live performance by an artist onscreen. Players can choose to form a band with friends for a collaborative musical experience or take the solo spotlight onstage.

Leaked details indicate that The Weeknd x Fortnite Festival will showcase innovative features, including a redesigned microphone, two distinct bass designs, three exclusive songs, a keytar design, the “Boombox” Aura, a loading screen, and access to The Weeknd’s unique skin, all attainable through a paid Festival Pass.
