By Jason Pena
Dua Lipa is taking her passion for the page to Spotify. The global pop sensation and Grammy winner behind chart-toppers like “Levitating” and “One Kiss” is expanding her Service95 platform with a video podcast deal that brings her literary lens to the world’s biggest streaming service.
Launching June 10, 2025, the Service95 Book Club Podcast will be available to watch exclusively on Spotify. In each episode, Lipa handpicks a book she loves as part of her Dua’s Monthly Read and sits down with the author for a deep, personal, and often revealing conversation. Think of it as the book club fantasy we’ve all had—only with Dua Lipa as the host and your favorite writers in the room.
“It’s a genuine thrill to welcome Dua Lipa and the Service95 Book Club to Spotify,” said Roshni Radia, Audiobooks Editor at Spotify. “Dua’s unique style and clear passion for literature make this a perfect fit for us. It’s a beautiful bridge between music, books, and conversation—and it shows off the full creative spectrum that Spotify is now home to.”
Lipa, ever the stylish curator of culture, also unveiled her official summer picks:
- This House of Grief by Helen Garner, a chilling nonfiction exploration of a murder trial involving a father accused of drowning his three sons.
- Dream Count by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a lyrical work by one of contemporary literature’s most celebrated voices.
- Fearless & Free by Josephine Baker, a long-awaited English translation of the trailblazing entertainer and activist’s memoir.
“For me, one of the best things about reading is getting to chat with my friends about the book that’s just blown my mind,” Lipa shared. “But surely the ultimate fantasy would be to have the author in the room there with us, answering all our questions about the incredible world they’ve created. Well, I get to live out my fantasy with this podcast. As someone who really is obsessed by books, it’s a dream come true.”
Dua Lipa isn’t just shaping pop culture—she’s now helping fans shape their personal libraries, too. With this Spotify partnership, her reach grows from playlists to page-turners, inviting millions to engage with storytelling on a new, more intimate level.
