Bottega Veneta has unveiled a new line of scented candles that beautifully showcase the house’s dedication to artisanal craftsmanship. Each candle is housed in a unique, handmade clay pot with stunning volcanic glazes, transforming them into individual works of art. The glazes pay tribute to Bottega Veneta’s Venetian heritage, echoing the city’s marbled architecture and shimmering waterways.
The candles are available in three distinctive fragrances, meticulously crafted from essential oils:
- Raintree: Encased in a lush green pot, this soft, green scent blends sweet fig, aromatic thyme, and lavender absolute, evoking the warmth and allure of a Mediterranean summer.
- Lantern: Housed in a bold yellow vessel, this sophisticated blend of frankincense, suede rose, and vetiver creates a sensual, suede-like ambiance.
- Redstone: Presented in a vibrant red vessel, this rich, leathery scent combines plum nectar, tobacco, cedar wood, and sweet amber notes, offering depth and comfort.
The volcanic glaze on the clay pots appears to be in motion, mimicking the intricate and dynamic leatherwork characteristic of creative director Matthieu Blazy’s designs. Each pot is a one-of-a-kind creation, making these scented candles true collector’s items.
