The highly anticipated season kicks off on Friday, March 28, featuring some of the biggest stars in baseball. The second game follows at 7:30 p.m. ET with Juan Soto and the New York Mets facing off against Jose Altuve and the Houston Astros.

Apple and MLB have also released the “Friday Night Baseball” schedule through June 27, featuring must-watch matchups such as a Yankees-Dodgers World Series rematch in Los Angeles, a Texas showdown between the Rangers and Astros, and multiple appearances by MVP Shohei Ohtani and the star-studded Dodgers. “We’re thrilled to bring another season of ‘Friday Night Baseball’ to Apple TV+, with top-tier production quality that baseball fans love,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music, Apple TV+, Sports, and Beats. “This season, we’re excited to offer an amazing lineup of games with no blackouts, available across more devices than ever before.”

Returning for the third consecutive season, the broadcast team will feature play-by-play announcers Wayne Randazzo and Alex Faust, analysts Dontrelle Willis and Ryan Spilborghs, and sideline reporters Heidi Watney and Tricia Whitaker. Additionally, Lauren Gardner, Russell Dorsey, and Xavier Scruggs will continue hosting live pre- and postgame coverage, with Siera Santos and Rich Waltz joining select broadcasts.

Produced by MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning team in collaboration with Apple’s live sports production unit, “Friday Night Baseball” will deliver an immersive experience with state-of-the-art cameras and Spatial Audio. Player and field-level mics will bring fans closer to the action, and U.S. and Canadian viewers will have the option to listen to local home and away radio broadcasts.

Beyond live games, Apple TV+ will offer comprehensive MLB coverage, including the MLB Big Inning whip-around show, Countdown to First Pitch, MLB Daily Recap, and MLB This Week. Fans can also access free content such as game recaps, classic matchups, highlights, and interviews through the Apple TV app.

For a next-level viewing experience, Apple TV 4K and iPad users can enjoy up to four simultaneous streams, including MLB and Major League Soccer (MLS) games. The Post Play feature allows viewers to transition seamlessly to other live events at the conclusion of their current game.

Apple has also announced VIP: Yankee Stadium, an immersive video experience for Apple Vision Pro users. Available for free next month, the film—hosted by broadcasting legend Joe Buck—takes viewers behind the scenes of a Yankees-Dodgers game, offering an all-access look at one of baseball’s most iconic venues.

Additionally, Apple TV+ will debut Fight For Glory: 2024 World Series, a groundbreaking docuseries that captures the intensity of the Yankees and Dodgers’ battle for the championship. Directed by R.J. Cutler and produced in partnership with MLB, Imagine Documentaries, and executive producer Derek Jeter’s Cap 2 Productions, the three-part series provides never-before-seen postseason insights.
