AIAIAI Unveils TMA-2 DJ Wireless Headphones, Claiming the Title of First-Ever Wireless DJ Gear
By Brian K Neal
AIAIAI, the Danish audio brand known for pushing boundaries in music technology, has announced the upcoming release of its TMA-2 DJ Wireless headphones, touted as the “world’s first wireless DJ headphones.” Slated for an early 2025 debut, these headphones follow the brand’s recent launch of the AIAIAI Unit-4 Wireless+, a portable studio speaker designed to meet professional audio standards.
While DJs have access to various Bluetooth headphones, AIAIAI’s TMA-2 DJ Wireless headphones stand out for their ultra-low latency technology. Standard Bluetooth audio can lag due to codec delays—milliseconds that make beatmatching between songs challenging for DJs. AIAIAI’s solution is its proprietary W+ Link transmitter, previously featured in the TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones. This transmitter minimizes latency to levels comparable to a wired connection, creating a nearly lag-free experience. For added versatility, the headphones offer three connectivity options: the W+ Link transmitter, Bluetooth 5.2, and a traditional wired connection.
Designed with durability and comfort in mind, the TMA-2 DJ Wireless headphones provide an impressive 25-hour battery life, ideal for extended DJ sets. Lightweight at just 217 grams (0.47 lbs), they are built for comfort over long periods of wear. A USB-C port enables fast charging, while a mini-jack port allows a wired connection when needed.
With the TMA-2 DJ Wireless, AIAIAI continues its mission to create cutting-edge, professional audio equipment that redefines what’s possible in the DJing and music production spaces.
