Acer Unveils the Swift 14 AI Laptop: The First Copilot+ PC

Acer has introduced its first Copilot+ PC, the Swift 14 AI laptop, developed in partnership with Microsoft and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. This launch signals the beginning of a new AI-driven era, enhancing user experiences and AI functionalities on Windows 11. The Swift 14 AI comes in various models powered by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus platforms, featuring some of the fastest NPUs available for laptops to enable advanced on-device AI processing. This empowers users to simplify daily tasks and handle complex workloads more efficiently.

Snapdragon X Series Platforms: Powering Next-Gen AI PCs

The Snapdragon X Series processors are designed for AI, making them among the most powerful and efficient for Windows devices. The new Swift 14 AI, powered by Snapdragon X Elite, includes 12 high-performance CPU cores on a 4nm process node, an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU with 3.8 TFLOPS, and a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of 45 TOPS. It also boasts up to 32 GB LPDDR5X-8533 memory and up to 1 TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD, ensuring smooth performance for productivity, creativity, and entertainment without sacrificing power.

A New AI Era Begins with Copilot+ PCs

The Swift 14 AI is optimized with powerful AI features that enhance productivity, creativity, and communication. The Recall feature allows users to find anything on their PC by describing memorable clues. Live Captions with live translations provide real-time speech captions and translations from 44 languages into English. Cocreator enables users to generate AI images and texts using visual or written prompts. Auto Super Resolution enhances game graphics in real-time, while Windows Studio Effects improve video call lighting and noise cancellation. Copilot, the everyday AI companion, is easily accessible via a dedicated key.

Premium Design and Features

The Swift 14 AI features a sleek design exclusive to Copilot+ PCs, with an AI icon on the cover and an Activity Indicator on the touchpad. It has a 14.5-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut support. The laptop is available with edge-to-edge touchscreen options and comes with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe Certification to minimize blue light effects. A 180-degree hinge allows versatile user modes and easy one-handed opening.

The laptop includes a 1440p QHD IR webcam with a triple microphone array and privacy shutter, supporting Acer’s AI-boosted conferencing tools. Acer QuickPanel and the AcerSense app provide easy access to device management and AI features. It supports Windows Hello for secure biometric login and emphasizes sustainability with PCR plastic use, 100% recyclable packaging, and EPEAT Gold certification. The Swift 14 AI also offers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, with speeds up to 5.8 Gbps and low network latency, plus multiple USB ports for added flexibility.

Pricing and Availability

The Acer Swift 14 AI (SF14-11) will be available in North America in July, starting at USD 1,099, and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,499.
