LG Electronics USA and Blacknut Cloud Gaming have teamed up to expand cloud gaming options on LG Smart TVs in the U.S., introducing “Jackbox Party Starter” and “Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway.” With a 134% year-over-year increase in cloud game app-opens and a 145% rise in unique TVs engaging with cloud gaming apps, LG and Blacknut are excited to meet the rising consumer demand, enhancing LG’s webOS platform with more value and premium experiences.

Customers can now access and install these games directly from the LG webOS App Store on LG Smart TVs. After downloading, users can enjoy a 30-minute free demo before unlocking the full game with a small monthly subscription fee, all without any lock-in contract.

“Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway” delivers fast-paced, family-friendly racing fun featuring popular Nickelodeon characters, dynamic tracks, and customizable karts. The game supports both Solo and Multiplayer modes, playable with a Bluetooth® controller or up to four gamepads simultaneously for a lively party experience.

The “Jackbox Party Starter” includes popular Jackbox games like “Trivia Murder Party 2,” “Tee K.O.,” and “Quiplash 3,” making it an ideal entry point for new Jackbox players on Blacknut. These multiplayer games are perfect for sparking competitive spirit at work events, birthdays, hangouts, family gatherings, and more. They can be played using a remote control, gamepad, or mobile devices as controllers, allowing anyone with an internet-connected phone, tablet, or laptop to join the game without extra controllers.

LG and Blacknut are thrilled to bring Blacknut’s games to LG Smart TVs across the U.S. “This new capability to purchase individual Blacknut games directly through the app store enhances democratized access to premium cloud gaming. By reducing friction, players can focus on what truly matters—the enjoyment and immersion of the gaming experience,” said Olivier Avaro, CEO of Blacknut Cloud Gaming. “With this seamless access, players can dive into their favorite games quickly, effortlessly, and affordably, allowing for more spontaneous and flexible gaming sessions.”

The project was developed and launched successfully in just under two months with great enthusiasm from both LG and Blacknut teams. “At LG, we are delighted to offer accessible premium gaming experiences to our consumers through our continued collaboration with Blacknut,” said Matthew Durgin, Vice President of North American Content and Services, LG Electronics USA. “LG is committed to innovating in the cloud gaming industry. Our partnership with Blacknut exemplifies how LG brings added value and premium gaming experiences to our users.”
