Two years back, Rockstar Games introduced Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, a compilation featuring three classic GTA titles from the early 2000s. This nostalgic collection caters to early fans of the franchise, bringing together the iconic Grand Theft Auto III (2001), Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002), and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004).
Now, GTA: The Trilogy is set to make its debut on Netflix as a mobile game. In the 2021 re-release, Rockstar aimed to maintain the authenticity of the originals by replicating their codes and utilizing AI to automatically enhance certain visual aspects of the GTA world, despite some user complaints about bugs.
Initially, GTA: The Trilogy was exclusively launched for consoles, available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. In preparation for its upcoming mobile release, Netflix has optimized each title to ensure a seamless gaming experience on smaller devices.
Whether fans of the franchise have plans to dive into the mobile version of GTA: The Trilogy upon its release on December 14 remains uncertain. However, there is widespread anticipation across the gaming community for the much-awaited launch of GTA 6.
