2026 Breakthrough: Apple TV Becomes the Home of All MLS Action

Major League Soccer and Apple are officially reshaping the future of sports streaming. Beginning in 2026, every MLS match — from regular-season fixtures to the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs — will be available to Apple TV subscribers at no additional cost. It’s a seismic shift for soccer fans and a bold continuation of one of the most innovative sports–tech partnerships in North America.
The update means that starting next season, fans will be able to stream the full slate of MLS programming, including the Leagues Cup, MLS All-Star Game, Campeones Cup, and a growing lineup of studio shows and on-demand content, directly through Apple TV. No blackouts. No additional subscription tiers. No friction.
This transition also marks the conclusion of the standalone MLS Season Pass at the end of the 2025 season — a strategic simplification that creates a single destination for one of the fastest-growing leagues in the world.
Apple and MLS are leaning into momentum. Over the past three seasons, the partnership has expanded coverage to more than 100 countries and ignited fan engagement globally, especially as the countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup accelerates. The integration arrives at a perfect moment: MLS is celebrating its 30th season, posting record-breaking attendance, climbing viewership, and attracting global stars like Lionel Messi and Son Heung-Min.
The move also positions MLS alongside Apple’s expanding sports and entertainment slate — which now includes acclaimed originals, prestige docuseries, Formula 1 in the U.S., and weekly “Friday Night Baseball” doubleheaders. And for committed supporters, MLS clubs will include an Apple TV subscription in all full-season ticket packages beginning in 2026.
Apple TV subscribers will have access to every match, plus studio analysis and rich behind-the-scenes storytelling — continuing the league’s push to elevate the fan experience on and off the pitch.
“We’re thrilled to bring MLS to more fans around the world next season on Apple TV,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services. “Every match, all in one place… it’s a win for fans everywhere.”
“Our partnership with Apple has always been about innovating for our fans,” added MLS Commissioner Don Garber. “Bringing every MLS match to Apple TV takes that vision to the next level.”
As the 2025 season builds toward the Audi MLS Cup and North America gears up for hosting the World Cup, Apple TV remains the global gateway for families, die-hard fans, and newcomers discovering the sport’s evolving identity.
Soccer’s next chapter in the U.S. isn’t just growing — it’s accelerating.
