The Weeknd Unveils Intense Second Trailer for Hurry Up Tomorrow Ahead of Global Premiere

By Thor McMillian
The Weeknd has dropped the second trailer for his upcoming psychological thriller, Hurry Up Tomorrow, just over a month before its highly anticipated global premiere. Starring Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, the film serves as a cinematic counterpart to his sixth studio album of the same name.
Directed by Trey Edward Shults, the latest trailer opens with Ortega’s character dramatically setting a house ablaze. As the flames rise, a haunting track by The Weeknd underscores the tension while Tesfaye’s character questions Ortega’s: “Have we met before?”
A striking montage follows, blending ominous imagery with hypnotic aesthetics, hinting at the unraveling of Tesfaye’s character. The psychological descent takes center stage, with Ortega offering a chilling yet heartfelt warning: “I know this was all really intense, but I’m not trying to hurt you. You were hurting yourself and you were hurting everyone around you. Something has to change.”
The film’s debut coincides with The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which kicks off May 9, featuring special guests Playboi Carti and Mike Dean.
