TikTok Expands Audio Sharing: New ‘Share to TikTok’ Feature Brings Music, Podcasts, and Audiobooks to the Platform
By DaMarko Webster
TikTok has launched a new feature to deepen its integration with popular music streaming platforms, making it easier for users to share and enjoy audio content. The tool, called “Share to TikTok,” allows users to seamlessly post songs, albums, and playlists directly from Spotify and Apple Music onto their TikTok feeds. Users can showcase their favorite tracks in both green screen and photo modes, sharing them on the “For You” page or in Stories.
But TikTok’s latest feature goes beyond just music—it now supports podcasts and audiobooks, broadening its content landscape to appeal to diverse audio enthusiasts. When users share this content, it includes a direct link back to the original streaming platform, guiding listeners to explore further.
This rollout results from TikTok’s partnerships with several major streaming services, coming about half a year after the platform resolved a licensing dispute with Universal Music, which restored music from Universal’s artists to TikTok. By enhancing audio-sharing options, TikTok continues to evolve as a key platform for discovering, sharing, and experiencing digital audio.
