In a move that seamlessly blends the worlds of luxury fashion and elite sports, English football sensation Jude Bellingham has been officially named Louis Vuitton’s newest “Friend of the House.” This partnership marks the beginning of what the brand describes as a “collaborative adventure,” with Bellingham set to work closely with the Pharrell-led menswear division.
As part of his role, Bellingham will be prominently featured in Louis Vuitton’s promotional campaigns, donning the House’s iconic designs during his public appearances and gracing the label’s exclusive events.
“It is such a pleasure to join the Louis Vuitton family,” Bellingham shared in a statement. “Since I was young, I have always been attracted to the House. I am so happy to continue building a relationship with Pharrell whose work I truly admire.”
The announcement follows Bellingham’s attendance at Pharrell’s much-anticipated debut Spring/Summer 2024 show for Louis Vuitton last summer. The Real Madrid star, who has been crowned this year’s La Liga Player of the Season and is the top scorer in the league, has already proven his star power on the field—and now, he’s set to do the same in the world of high fashion.
Pharrell expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “I’m thrilled to welcome Jude to the House. His charismatic personality and the incredible milestones he has already achieved will bring a unique energy to our LVers community,” which boasts other influential figures like Pusha T, Carlos Alcaraz, and Victor Wembanyama.
To celebrate the news, Louis Vuitton has unveiled Bellingham’s first campaign with the brand. The footballer is pictured exuding sophistication in a double-breasted suit and a monogram-covered coat, complemented by some of the label’s signature accessories.
