Pacsun Launches ‘A.R.C.’: The Ultimate Men’s Activewear Line for Gen Z
By Jason Pena
In a bold move to cater to the dynamic lifestyles of Gen Z males, US fashion retailer Pacsun has unveiled its first dedicated men’s activewear line, ‘A.R.C.’ (Active. Recreation. Comfort.). This collection aims to blend active, recreational, and comfort-focused elements, offering versatile pieces that transition effortlessly from the gym to relaxation, all while emphasizing accessibility and high-quality fabrics.
The 28-piece debut collection builds on the triumphs of Pacsun’s Women’s Active and PAC1980 lines, infusing a youthful, stylish edge into men’s activewear. Expect a variety of pieces including short sleeve and cut-off tees, run and flight shorts, color-blocked vests, crewnecks, hoodies, pants, and joggers, crafted from brushed heavyweight fleece, stretch nylons, and moisture-wicking poly blends.
Each piece in the A.R.C. collection is categorized under Active, Recreation, and Comfort:
- Active: Designed for high-performance activities, featuring nylon tops and shorts with perforated side panels for enhanced breathability and mobility.
- Recreation: Tailored for everyday wear, including nylon cargo pants, lightly padded vests, and casual closet staples.
- Comfort: Showcases premium loungewear, such as pigment dye fleece tops and heavyweight jersey tees brushed for extreme softness.
All styles sport HD reflective branding and come in a palette of neutral tones like grey, olive, black, brown, off-white, yellow, and navy.
Richard Cox, Pacsun’s vice president of men’s merchandising and design, expressed excitement about the launch, stating, “The A.R.C. Collection marks a significant milestone for Pacsun as we introduce our first dedicated men’s activewear line and look to fill a gap in the market. The three unique style categories within the collection are designed to reflect the diverse lifestyles of our consumers. Our goal was to create high-quality, versatile pieces that resonate with their evolving lives while remaining accessible to everyone.”
Available online and in stores, the A.R.C. Collection is priced between $29.95 and $74.95, in sizes S-XL. The launch is accompanied by a campaign featuring notable NIL athletes, including NCAA quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders and Carson Beck, basketball player Shareef O’Neal, and USA national gymnast Khoi Young.
This debut collection is just the beginning for Pacsun’s curated men’s active category, which will also feature outside brands. Following this initial release, activewear brand Y.I.W.O is set to join the lineup with a launch on July 16.
