Ergatta Launches Instructor-Led Studio Classes in Partnership with CityRow
By Brian K. Neal
Ergatta, the game-based home fitness brand, has unveiled a new offering of instructor-led studio classes powered by CityRow. This addition follows WaterRower’s acquisition of CityRow earlier this year, allowing Ergatta to present its members with expert coaching and premium classes under the CityRow brand.
This launch uniquely merges the excitement of game-based workouts, the tranquility of scenic rows, and the structure of expert-led classes to create a comprehensive fitness experience. The new offering aims to foster lasting fitness habits and deliver tangible results.
Ergatta boasts the largest game-based rowing community, with over 100,000 members who engage in gaming, training, and competition through interactive game experiences. The platform also features an extensive library of scenic waterways from around the globe. With this latest development, Ergatta addresses a critical need for high-quality classes focused on technique, tough interval training, and injury prevention.
“Ergatta is renowned for our top-tier workout games, which are central to our mission,” said Tom Aulet, Co-Founder and CEO of Ergatta. “However, we are equally dedicated to offering diverse digital fitness content and providing essential rowing form guidance. The partnership with CityRow enhances our content offering, making Ergatta the most comprehensive and varied digital content provider in connected rowing.”
The new classes encompass a variety of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), endurance, strength, and mobility exercises, both on and off the rower. These coached workouts cater to all skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to advanced users perfecting their technique. Combined with CoachAI, Ergatta’s gamified form-analysis tool that offers personalized feedback, members can follow instructor-led drills and monitor their progress over time.
Ergatta now delivers the most diverse and comprehensive fitness content in digital rowing. From engaging game-based workouts and scenic rows to an extensive library of coached classes, the platform provides unmatched options to keep users motivated and challenged. Each experience is supported by personalization tools, goal-based programs, and other features designed to help users build lasting habits and achieve real results. With a wide variety of classes available at launch and new content released weekly, Ergatta ensures there’s always something new and exciting to try.
These classes are accessible to all Ergatta members and can be used with the Ergatta Rower ($2499), Ergatta Lite ($1799), or tablet devices compatible with industry-leading analog rowing machines, including the WaterRower Upgrade Package and the Concept2 Connection Kit.
